The location is amazing, the room was quite and spacious (deluxe king bed) (AC could be a little less noisy but didn't keep us awake). The staff is kind and attentive. The common areas are beautifully curated. We didn't get a room with a great view but we will definitely ask for one next time. The view should be amazing. We love the neighborhood, great restaurants at walk distance, 1 block from the lake shore but super quite. We will go back.

A gorgeous hotel with tons of character, well designed and comfortable. A stunning lobby with high ceilings, a fireplace, and beautiful furnishings. Staff is professional and warm. Walk to fun restaurants and bars.

Location was great, only a few blocks from a subway station. Room was clean, modern and had a comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Staff at front desk was friendly. It was easy to leave my bags the day to grab later when we checked out since we had a later flight. Really pretty area close to shopping/dining. Free coffee in the mornings was a nice bonus.

The hotel had a boutique feel with all of the amenities of a larger hotel. Location was great - within walking distance to the N Avenue Beach and Mag Mile. Hotel interior was elegant but welcoming. Staff were helpful, friendly and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner in their restaurant, as well as the bar for cocktails and the Library for our morning coffee. The rooms were very large yet cozy, with all the amenities you would expect from a classy 4* hotel. We will definitely return!

The Ambassador is one of my favorite hotels. My review will skew toward the positive. Every room I've gotten is super comfortable. I love that the beds are platform beds, which is so much better for my chronic back issues. I love to hang out in The Library to drink coffee and chill out. The staff is one of the friendliest ones I've ever encountered. I came for my birthday, on an overnight, and was upgraded to a suite and given complimentary bar tickets. I've never stayed in a suite before and it was fantastic. Almost an embarrassment of riches. Thanks to Kenzie for the perks! Alex, the bartender, was fantastic. He was great to talk to and has created some interesting drinks that fit with the hotel's entertainment "mecca" past. I always try to bring, at least, one of my Chicago up to the room, lobby, and Library to show them how fantastic the space is.
